Punggol Choon Seng Seafood Restaurant
This is the gents, it is along the parameter of the building. Decorated like a fishing village toilet hehe
The entrance to the restaurant. Looks old school but its all sealed with glass door and its air conditioned.
The little touches that makes the place looks nostalgic
Paintings on the wall
The interior of the place, so crowded :)
The front walkway
The aisle
Table setting
Roast nut and chili.
Chinese tea
It is a friend's birthday today, so we requested for peach blossom. So nice..
This is the first dish, nicely presented with the bamboo steamer, sauce and the cucumber and spring onion slices..
This is the skin for the wrapper of the upcoming meat.. think something duck .. hehe
Its shredded crispy duck! A change from normal peking duck.. it's a bit on the dry side, but maybe coz it is supposed to be crispy :)
Here is another picture of the whole serving.. a bit dark due to insufficient lightings
Chinese spinach stir fry
Mushroom and asparagus. I like the asparagus :)
Crispy honey baby squid.. crunchy and fragrant :)
Steamed fish, teo chew style. The soup is nice
Fried mantou
Steamed mantou on the bamboo steamer. This is nice and soft.
Close up view of the healthier choice mantou
Chili crab! There is seriously lotsa egg in there.. very good!
Black pepper crab. There is lotsa eggs too, the crabs are also fresh! I like it.
The food is of good quality and nice ambiance. There is a singer that play guitar and sings that left the mood of the place. I don't mind coming here again :)
Total bill: <$300 ($200+, but I dunno how much as it is a treat)
