Went to this unsuspecting outlet.. even though it is after lunch hours, it is still so crowded, here is the table crackers :)

Chicken soto. This is much better than the Kafe Betawi one.. the whole cafe menu is just soto with different mix of meat. We order perkedel also, but I am too busy eating to snap pics.

Pempek is food originated from Palembang. It is basically like fish cake, and fried before served on the soup. This is the cucumber cubes to complete the pempek
This is the soup, dark brown and spicy looking, it is actually a bit sweet also.. Some people prefer to just dip it in as a sauce instead of having it as soup.
I have the Kapal Selam (Underwater ship, coz it resembles the shape), it contains egg, 2 long one and 1 round one, which also have fried onion (I think) in the ingredients.

We ordered the squid ink pizza. The black crust is the squid ink, very very thin crust, a bit like papadum. I prefer the crust that are slightly wet as it makes it more chewy instead of crispy. The topping is very generous tho :) I think for one pizza, shared between 2 person will be just nice, if a big eater, might need the whole pizza to himself.
