Lunch - Mart Boulevard @ 8 Shenton Way

Discovered this place at a very unlikely place haha.. The decor is very nice, very SEA-an.. :)
Utensils
Table mat
Lemongrass drink. Generous serving for one :)

Honey BBQ Chicken rice
Green curry chicken rice
Phad thai.. it doesn't come with any meat, so I added $1 for chicken expecting chicken meat to be tossed with the rice noodles.. but it's actually the chicken wing.. so $1 for 1 small sized mid wing.. -_-" The chicken is tender and sweet but I might just go vegetarian next time. The phad thai is not bad on its own :)

Total bill: ~$35

Lunch - Uncle Sam's Claypot @ Robinson Rd

Try out this place as I have seen it a few times .. :) Looks like a nice place :)
Tom yum noodle soup.
The star dish, claypot chicken rice. The portion is generous and it goes very well with the sambal belachan, must get it ourselves at the side table. I like this! :)

Utensils
Menu
Root beer float, they use the canned A&W root beer :)
Chili and tomato sauces
1 egg soup. I didn't try it tho
Fried chicken wings. They slice the wings into halves. Feel that it is too much flour and no meat.. Could be better..
Chicken burger. I like this too. The bread is buttery :) The sides are garden salad and garlic and herbs fries.
Salmon steak. The portion is really generous and the fish is cooked to perfection. I like this :) I have it with coleslaw and curry thick fries :)

Lunch - Chilli Padi @ Joo Chiat Pl

Went here for lunch :)
Nice ambiance... very traditional nonya style :)
There is a counter near the kitchen
The awards that they have won..
The paintings
Menu
Ice lemon tea
Lime
Grass jelly drink
Belachan
Achar
Tahu goreng
Curry vegetable
Black ink squid.. not spicy..
Babi ponteh.. the meat is tender but the meat is actually brisket.. I prefer less fats ones..
Ayam buah keluak. The buah keluak is sweet paste... I prefer the ones bitter, salty one stuffed with meat.
