Dinner - Pantai Mutiara Seafood Restaurant @ Indonesia

Sambal kangkong ... very spicy!
Fried squid .. Nice!
Bamboo clam
Steamed prawn ... very fresh, juicy, crunchy.. I like!!
BBQ Fish .. once it arrives, people keep taking, till the first chance I get to take it, it's already like this haha .. it's very good!



Lunch - Taman Anggrek Food Court @ Indonesia

Otak-Otak, wrapped in banana leaves and to be enjoyed with slightly spicy peanut sauce
Kodok Mentega - Buttered fried frog, sweet sauce and the lime combination ... delicious!
Mee soto, with beef, babat, urat, and the risol (the fried wrap at the side, it's filled with beehoon)
Nasi timbel - already been introduced in previous entry.. :)
Gurame goreng set - The fish is really GOOD :)
Kerupuk juhi hehe
Avocado juice, with chocolate syrup and behind is Teh Botol, Indonesian signature drink hehe

Dinner - Angke Restaurant @ Indonesia

My favourite restaurant ... this is the interior ...
This is the untensils they always use, seeing it makes me hungry already haha

Ordered ice tea, knowing I will eat a lot, so need tea to wash it off later haha
Fist dish: Hainanese style, garlic chicken .. Yummy
Kailan with prawn. The kailan is very special, have the crunchy stem. The only stem vege that I really like :)
Angsio Tauhu, with mushroom, pork etc .. So good.. never stingy with the ingredients :)
Fish soup ... it's very sweet, with raddish, cabbage, fish ball, fish meat, carrot etc

Lunch - ITC Food Court @ Indonesia

Nasi Timbel - rice wrapped in that banana leaf, tempe, tahu, fish, chicken all fried .. a choice of BBQ or fried is given :)
How the rice inside looks .. unlike, lontong which are pressed together .. this is still the grainy rice
Lalapan - fresh vege, to be eaten with sambal terasi, a variation of this will be, bean sprout, cucumber, french bean etc ...
Fried chicken, ampela (gizzard), usus (chicken intestine), ati (liver)
Sayur asem as the side soup
Also ordered bakso bihun... Very GOOD! hehe ... what is Indonesian food without bakso ? hahaha
Es Campur - consist of avocado, coconut, sago, red bean, green bean etc etc

Lunch - Kari Bihun @ Indonesia

Basically it is a chicken curry with beehoon. The curry have a mild milky taste. It is served with chicken, potato, chicken gizzard and chicken blood (Yup, that's the black thingy in the middle)

Lunch - Sinar Jaya @ Indonesia

Welcome to Padang Food! It consists of a variety of Minangkabau dishes on a customer's table along with steamed rice and billing only for what is taken. Each plate generally consist of serving for 2 (2 pieces of chicken, 2 perkedel etc.. u got the idea .. ). Normally,, the plates will be stacked on front of you and and you can just enjoy the food that you want to eat and only pay for those.

Be considerate and do not contaminate those food on the table that you actually not consuming :)

Various types of rendang and curry chicken, beef, acar, lodeh, sambal prawn ...
Sayur nangka (jackfruit), green chili sauce, telor dadar (some kind of egg omellette), perkedel, babat ...
BBQ chicken, fried chicken, curry chicken ...
My fav.. sambal prawn is featured again hahaha
Served with piping hot steamed rice, always in this shape .. kinda oval ...

Just seeing this makes me hungry all over again .. :P

Breakfast - Tiong Sim @ Indonesia

Noodle with wantan, char siow, vege, boiled chicken
The ingredients for the Indonesian hainanese style rice - sambal prawn, roast chicken, char siew, pickled onion and chili, egg and cucumber
After I mixed is with the hainanese rice .. delicious!
The side soup with real carrot, cabbage, potato

Dinner - Mie Tek Tek @ Roadside, Indonesia

This is Mie Tek Tek ... Basically noodle, chicken, veges, egg. Dun get food by the appearance, it is really very spicy :)
Nasi Tek Tek .. same as noodle but using rice

Why is it called Tek Tek?
Coz when the hawker do their rounds, they beat 2 wooden sticks to create the "tek tek" noise and shouting and attract customers ... :)

Dinner - Homecooked @ Indonesia

Tapioca leaves in coconut milk
Cut Cut snail tauco... spicy
Steam prawn ... the normal rice wine had run out.. what to do? open the wine bar shelves and pour johnny walker in .. hahaha

Indonesia have lotsa seafood as it is surrounded by sea ... so it's seafood time!!
